Safe environment for wastewater treatment plant operators

Wastewater treatment plants produces large amount of aerosol that can also be deposited on the surface of the site.

The staff present in such premises may be exposed to virus present in the aerosol during they working activity and can be infected with the result of work-related symptoms and diseases like respiratory and gastro-intestinal effects.

The aerosol testing in the wastewater treatment plants is therefore necessary at regular intervals.

A new system for this monitoring is the virus portable air sampler “AIRBIO.ONE RAPID-VIRUS”. At the end of the sampling on the field, the subsequent analytical test like PCR will indicate if the environment is safe for the staff.
